The Thoughtful Years was a monthly newsletter published by the Ignacio Senior Center beginning around August 1972 and continuing through at least November 1992. Most issues contain an informal collection of local news, events, obituaries, and biographies of prominent community members from around the Ignacio area. The surnames of many longtime area families appear throughout the news items and biographies listed within.
